Procurement Remediation Project

  • Mar 6, 2015
  • 1 min read

Phoenix was engaged to conduct a review of the Hydro Tasmania's procurement to pay solution based on SAP. Following a complex implementation in mid 2013, Hydro Tasmania experienced significant business challenges to adopt a complex solution.

Following the development of a remediation roadmap, Phoenix has been engaged to streamline and simplify the solution, re-aligning it to current business objectives. This project includes the simplication of the user interface and the implementation of the SAP UI5 solution to simplify useability. A significant number of changes will also be made to simplify the current complexity in the solution to work more efficiently and realiably for the business users.

The post highlights how financial decisions and planning can really affect long-term stability, especially when unexpected costs show up. It made me think about how small home issues can quietly turn into bigger expenses if ignored. I once helped a relative understand early repair needs and learned about bathroom leakage control services while discussing water damage fixes. It reminded me that prevention is always cheaper than repair later on.

I found the post about no more savings really interesting because it shows how plans and budgeting can change when life throws surprises our way. It reminded me of a time at uni when I was struggling with a heavy workload and once had someone do my electrical engineering assignment so I could focus on understanding the core ideas without falling behind. That experience taught me that asking for help can make tough weeks feel more manageable.
